Rachel Turner

Hi, I am Rachel Turner, and I am a Regional Human Resources Manager for a Techmer PM. I have worked for Techmer since 2014, and in my current role, I oversee the employee life cycle process for 3 of our manufacturing facilities and remote employees. I have been in the field of human resources since 2012, and I also have experience in benefits administration, leave of absences, and recruitment.

I earned my Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2012. Immediately following graduation, I enrolled in a graduate program for Human Resources Management at the University of Tennessee. During the program, I became very interested in employment law; however, employment law was only one course in the program. From there, I increased my knowledge of employment law through seminars and conferences, but I did not feel that was enough. Human resources has become increasingly complicated due to labor and employment laws that can even vary from from the federal level to the state level. I discovered this program, and I was confident that this program would increase my knowledge base in human resources and would allow me to further my career with a legal focus within human resources.
