Dr. Elizabeth Townsend Gard is the John E. Koerner Endowed Professor of Law, Deputy Faculty Director, Masters of Jurisprudence Labor and Employment Law Program, and Director, of the Tulane Center for IP Law and Culture. Her speciality is intellectual property and social media. She has taught in the MJ-LEL program since its inception, and teaches the Capstone course. She also loves to quilt, and is the host of the podcast, Just Wanna Quilt for the last five years. She has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court for her work in copyright, and writes books focused on the intersection of intellectual property and social media in the workplace and for entrepreneurs.
