Well, That Was Interesting

I have worked in Human Resources for many years, and hold a SHRM-SCP certification. I thought I was done. If you have studied for the certification, you know what I mean. I was not looking for more, until a friend shared this program with me.

I read about the program and thought:

“There is no way I can get into law school.”

“I am too old to go back to school.”

“Do I really want to go back to school?”

“What is the worst that can happen? I get an email saying, “Thank you, but No Thank You”

So, I tried and I was accepted.

I have learned so much from the curriculum and professors. I have learned how to interpret that law. I am emerging into a visionary. Enrolling in this program was one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. I am so glad I overcame my doubt and fears.

Since the day I received my acceptance letter, I have met the most amazing people.

For over a year, I was looking at my cohort in our Brady Bunch squares over zoom. Immersion weekend was a pivotal point in this experience because I was able to meet almost everyone in person. It was a weekend I will never forget. My cohort will forever hold a special place in my heart. We text, call, and stress together. It will be so amazing when we graduate together!
