I have never been good with "goodbyes." I have not attended a going-away party, going-away happy hour, or done anything to commemorate my leaving a place of employment, regardless of how long I worked there. I invest heavily in the relationships I create with friends and co-workers. My brain cannot comprehend our relationship changing in any way.
The Sweet 16 Nacho Cohort is one that will go down in the history books for the Tulane MJ-LEL Program. Each of us has brought passion, energy, and substance to the program, and most importantly, a "one-for-all, all-for-one" mentality. We were not going to let any Nacho be left behind! The evidence can be seen in our group chats, which are full of encouragement and praise.
I'm so grateful for our group chat as I know I can turn to my friends/colleagues whenever I have a question or need some advice. They will be there to help me as I will be there to help them.
Two years have flown by in a blink of an eye, and I am certainly looking forward to being done with taking classes, but I am not ready to say goodbye to my classmates. We will all be at graduation next month to celebrate all we've accomplished and to raise a glass to one another.
We did it, y'all!! I could not have dreamed of going through this with a better group of people! You all hold a special place in my heart! Definitely NOT goodbye, but I can't wait to see you soon!
