My name is Robert Benavidez and I have been working in the non-profit sector for about 20 years. I am currently serving as Chief Administrative Officer for a health care organization. Prior to the non-profit sector I worked in banking and financial services in New York City. I did not have a traditional education experience. After I graduated from high school, I ventured off to New York City.
After a 20-year career I decided to pursue an undergraduate degree. I received my Bachelors Degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco (USF) in 2002. As an adult learner I was inspired to continue my education, ultimately receiving my Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the USF. Prior to my last semester at USF I thought it would be exciting to continue my education and began the journey of pursuing a Masters of Jurisprudence, Labor & Employment Law while finishing out my MPA.
My current role includes overseeing Human Resources and I have always wanted to hone my overall skills and knowledge with the legal aspect of employment. I am grateful for what I have learned and the peers I have met in my cohort. I am excited to finish up the journey and take a much-needed break.
