In the Thick of It

I am struggling! In my head, I know what I want to write about, but I am having trouble finding sources that provide support from the perspective I am focused on. The subject of my paper is avoiding unionization, and doing the right things so employees do not even think about unionizing.

I believe that if employees are treated fairly, paid competitively, and feel a sense of belonging they would have no reason to look to union representation. There are HR articles on preventing ULPs, but I have found very few legal sources.

I got very caught up in finding sources, now I am behind on a couple of assignments. My focus has now shifted to the next part of my paper, ‘How to spot the signs that employees are thinking of unionizing’. I’m feeling much more comfortable with this section of my paper.

I am finally getting into the groove, feeling more confident as I move on to other parts of my paper.
