Hot Topics Panel Presentation!

jfinnegan39

I want to start by saying that I loved working with my group for this panel presentation. We were thrown together as an odds and ends miscellaneous group of HOT TOPICS and it could not have worked out better! Below is a summary of our panel presentation:

2021 was a year of reactive solutions to new HR challenges with efforts lacking a strategic and long-term focus. As we move further into 2022, employers and employees are facing ongoing and new challenges in dealing with legal restrictions and rules around employment.

One of the most important HR responsibilities is maintaining compliance with various state, local, and federal employment regulations. Over the last two years alone there have been countless new laws and updates focused on high-stakes pandemic-related legislation, and with good reason. As we creep further towards 2023, employers will continue to grapple with certain federal and labor laws surrounding COVID-19, workplace privacy, professional hair, as well as a host of other legal challenges.

Our group presented several of these HOT TOPICS and key issues for HR professionals to watch out for!
