Capstonian Biography

My name is Heather Stanley. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. While at the University of Southern Mississippi, I was awarded the Ronald G. Marquardt Award in the Legal Studies Program which is awarded to an upperclassman in the Legal Studies Program who excelled academically as a Legal Studies major. I am now currently in my final semester at Tulane University School of Law pursing my Masters of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law.


I work as a paralegal for The Moeller Firm located in New Orleans, LA. I work in the areas of maritime law, commercial law and construction law. My previous legal work experience includes estate planning, business law, tax law, real estate law, family law, and criminal law.
