Kaleigh Cope

MJ, Employment and Labor Law, Tulane Law School Class of 2023

My name is Kaleigh and I'm from Nashville, TN.  As an untraditional student (i.e. someone that took way longer than they should figuring out what they wanted to do in undergrad, otherwise known as passing away my college years HAH!), I struggled hard.  I struggled keeping my grades up, I struggled with finances, and I struggled with staying motivated.  I was the kid that parents were told them I didn't have a choice in going to college or not, and to be honest, it didn't really set me up for a positive experience going into college.  A few hard lessons learned and a really amazing professor, I found my niche -- Human Resources.

I love everything that Human Resources stand for.  I love interacting with employees and being there in their time of need.  I love educating someone on 401ks or their employee benefits.  This fire inside of me when I found my true passion was unmatched to anything I had ever experienced and from that time forward, I haven't stopped.  That's why I had to be part of this program here at Tulane.
