With a lifelong career in the HR profession, I was seeking a way to continue to grow and continue
developing my skills. When I discovered the Tulane MJ program, it just seemed like a perfect fit for me.

The program offered a balance of remote/online instruction which working professionals need, enough
depth to push seasoned HR professional and the recognition of a world class university.
In my application to Tulane, I wrote about how I am hard working and how my never-say-no approach
has served me well in my career advancement. Having the opportunity to grow both personally and
professionally with the law school program was a thrilling and terrifying proposition. It was a great
decision. I was a good solid HR practitioner before Tulane, after Tulane I believe I bring a confidence in my profession and deeper understanding of the field of employment law in the practical working sense.

When I am not attending classes, I work as a VP of HR and member of the management faculty at
Western Washington University where I teach HRM.
