Ilda Andaluz

Ilda Andaluz is a senior human resource professional with over with over 20 years of experience. She has a vast experience in working in various industries in both private and public sector including:
telecommunications, retail, manufacture, municipal, education and energy. Currently, she is he Executive Vice President of Human Resources for an energy company called Varel Energy Solutions
(VES). Prior to joining VES, Ilda has worked in various HR positions for companies in Canada and Mexico. She relocated to Houston in January of 2016 from Calgary, Alberta Canada.
During her career she has demonstrated proven success in leading innovative, integrated, and consistent practices in human resources, employee relations, leadership development, organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, performance development and change leadership. She sat on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and was the Board Chair in 2019. Ilda has a BA in Psychology from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She currently is completing her Masters in Jurisprudence Labor & Employment law at Tulane University Law School. She also holds various project management and HR certifications, including the Advanced Executive HR Program from the University of Michigan. Ilda is a talented linguist and speaks, reads, and writes Spanish, English, French & Italian fluently. Her team describes her as an inspirational leader. She always finds time to mentor others and has a passion to develop people to their full potential.
