I have heard often in my career that HR is a lonely field. This can be even more so for HR teams of one or two people at smaller companies. If you would’ve said this to me two years ago I would’ve agreed
wholeheartedly that it felt lonely. It wasn’t until I connected with my fellow cohorts in my Tulane MJ-LEL
program that I proudly started saying that wasn’t true!

Initially when I enrolled my main goal was to feel more comfortable and confident in the decisions I was making for the organization in which I was a leader. I became not only an HR leader, but an operational leader and it was important to me that my confidence transcended throughout the organization. I wanted them to also feel confident in my knowledge at an expert level. This program has not only helped me increase my level of confidence in strategic decision making and overall knowledge in my field, but also it has made being an HR professional feel a lot less lonely. The unexpected outcome I didn’t know I needed until I had it.
